To Buy or To Rent a Las Vegas Home?
To rent an apartment to to buy a home is the question that vexes many new residents of Las Vegas. The best reason to chose renting over buying is how long you plan to stay in an area. If you are going to move out in less than a year then renting may be the way to go. But if you plan to stay in an area for atleast a few years, buying is very likely the best financial decision for you.
Advantages of Renting
1.Few maintenance duties.
2.Can move at any time.
3. When I rent an apartment, I don’t have to pay property taxes.
Buying a home not such a big disadvantage!
1.Home owners associations, for a nominal fee, will take care of landscaping. Condo or town home communities take care of landscaping and community pool/spa for a condo fee.
2. While it may take a month or two to sell a home, even with a apartment you still must give 30 days notice. And with a home, you will build up equity.
3.Your home in most cases will be worth more when you move, than when you bought it. That money is yours
