Summerlin - A place of religious diversity.

Summerlin, the Master-planned community in Las Vegas is home to more than a dozen places of worship dedicated to different religions. Summerlin is home to people from more 10 different faiths and these churches, chapels, mosques and temples are testimony to the religious diversity of Summerlin.

According to Tom Warden a vice-president with The Howard Hughes Corp., the master-planned community's developer, these religious places were pre-planned at the start of the development of the community, to provide residents with not only a place of worship but also add to architectural beauty to the community and also be the center for a variety of religious, cultural and social events and activities in the community.

These religious places provide residents a place to worship in their own community and neighbourhoods and spread spiritual well being among the community residents.
