Better Quality, Better Customer Satisfaction
KB Homes delivered more than 3,800 homes in the Las Vegas Valley in 2004. It was one of the first construction firms to receive the National Housing Quality Builder Certification. According to firm's quality manager they have been continuing to improve their quality and efficiency. They have had an excellent record with 95 percent customer satisfaction rate since the certification last year.
They have had fewer customer callbacks, reduced cycle time to build the homes and greater measurement of our processes and this has made positive improvements in every area of their business. One of the most important is their 'Q-10' 10-point quality inspection process, which is mandatory for every house they build.
The Q-10 process includes inspections at various stages of a home's construction along with a Team Walk, a final quality inspection featuring representatives from the company's customer service, production and sales departments. This ensures inputs from all departments and guarantees greater customer satisfaction
