Las Vegas - A City Of Many Facets

Las Vegas can to be more appropriately called as one city with two stories. One is of the dazzling lights and casinos which attract pleasure seeking millions of people from all around the world and the other is the South western side where 1.4 million people live with all the amenities like the school, parks, and stores. Fourteen of the fifteen largest hotels in United States are located in Las Vegas catering to the visitors.

But there is another story that is building up lately - That of real estate.

Real estate growth has reached new peaks. Two acres of land are used for commercial or residential use every 24 hours, 365 days a year. The real estate growth rate is so enormous that the architects and the developers are running out of new street names. The number of people coming and settling down in Las Vegas has increased so much that two phone books are printed to add all new residents and businesses every year.

In spite of overcrowding the local government is taking great effort to maintain quality life in Las Vegas by providing new roads, new school, new healthcare facilities etc. According to the entrepreneur magazine, among the western countries Las Vegas is rated as the number one in economic growth and business activity.
